“Months of troubleshooting showed my dire broadband connection might be due to a faulty phone line. Four visits by four different Openreach engineers and still several of our phone extensions did not work. Contacting the engineers who had been to our house proved impossible. We got a big bill.
The internet led me to Neat Connections. Though based in Birmingham, a visit to Leicester was easily arranged. Not all of it was straightforward, but all our extensions were fixed and have been ok ever since. The bill was extremely reasonable. What’s more, there’s no difficulty contacting Keith, of Neat Connections.
If you can get your phone system sorted promptly at BT’s expense, you’re bound to do that. But you may not know whether the fault is in BT’s wiring or your own. In the latter case you pay. -
Phone wiring is not as simple as it looks to an outsider and good background knowledge comes in very handy. Keith struck me as someone who understands it better than the Openreach engineers we saw, and this knowledge proved important.
